To give shelter - to comfort and nourish - to teach

As I lay my tired head upon your breast

Shielded to rest - to sleep

Till death you will defend -Work hard till days end

Hands blistered and worn - with less sleep - you begin again

All in the name of Motherhood - genetically inclined

Trademarked in Heaven - as "glorious and divine"

To wipe my tears - to teach me the way

Opening the channels to the Heavens

Through the "Commandments" God gave

From childhood to adult - nurtured within

The comfort of "A Mothers Love"

Is from the heart - it never ends

You prayed for me in sickness with God leading your way

Strength gathered from the Lord as you knelt to pray
